QuirkyBaby Offers Offsetting Options through Carbonfund.org

Carbonfund.org has partnered with QuirkyBaby, a company that offers the best baby carriers and accessories for the modern parent. In their commitment to being a CarbonFree® partner, QuirkyBaby has announced to give their customers the option to offset the carbon costs of shipping their orders with a donation to Carbonfund.org.

The company also utilizes organic material, sources domestic or fair-trade products, repurposes (i.e., using cardboard as garden mulch), and recycles shipping materials in their production processes. Office practices include use of compact fluorescent bulbs, 100% post-consumer recycled paper printer, and refillable ink cartridges. “I researched carbon offset programs extensively before choosing Carbonfund.org. I was impressed with the program’s transparency, certification and auditing process, and efficiency. I was also influenced by the organization’s nonprofit status and the flexibility it offers individuals and businesses to choose how to offset carbon costs and allocate donations,” said Jane McClintock from QuirkyBaby.
