Carbonfund.org Retreats, Only To Come Back Stronger Than Ever

Last Thursday and Friday, the entire Carbonfund.org staff (excepting our two wonderful interns) traveled to the Blue Mountain Retreat Center--greater Washington's first eco-friendly retreat center--for a staff retreat. Carbonfund.org has grown from 5 employees to 14 in about a year, making it high time for us to take a step back, assess ourselves and our organization, and develop short- and long-term goals and plans to continue the kind of success we've had since our founding. This was accomplished under the leadership of facilitator Connie Row and with the participation of the staff. With these plans in hand, we will be able to do an even better job of what we already do best: supporting projects that reduce greenhouse gasses now.

Unrelated, but good for a chuckle: an invigorated round-table discussion about efforts to "green" the US forces in Iraq, from "America's most trusted source in news"--The Onion.
