Carbonfund.org Reaches Out to National Business Travel Association

Executive Director Eric Carlson and Partnerships Director Claire Douglass flew in on a red-eye from LA early this morning, but troopers that they are, they're back at work today. (In fact, Eric is about to film a segment for Fox Business Channel.) They spent the last three days attending the National Business Travel Association's 2008 International Convention and Exposition.

The 2008 NBTA Conference was special for us for a couple reasons. For one thing, this year we offset the convention through our CarbonFree Events Program. In addition, Eric made his trip to the convention CarbonFree to the extent possible by using CarbonFree partners to fly, drive, and stay with while he attended. You can see him exiting his JetBlue flight, which he offset when he made the reservation on JetBlue's website. We'll have more updates soon about the trip and the other things Eric did to make his trip CarbonFree.

Very cool. And SMART!!!

I fly to L.A. every November for a music conference (attended by a total of nearly 4,000 workers, panelists, and attendees...from all over the globe), and I'm DESPERATELY trying to encourage the people flying in to think about purchasing offsets.

You guys are amazing.
