The Tensas River Reforestation Project, Part I

I'm back from my trip to Louisiana to visit our Tensas River Reforestation Project. Needless to say, it was extremely rewarding to see the support from us and from our partners actually making a difference out there in the fight against global warming.

In the coming days and weeks I'll be posting more photos as well as some videos from the trip. For now, here's a photo of the planters doing their thing: 750,000 trees on 1,100 acres in 5 days. They're tree-planting machines!

You can also read more about our reforestation projects and see the map of the Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge.

WOW! Good work. The more people we have planting them instead of taking them out the better.

I bought a new Jetta in September and sport my Carbon Neutral Project sticker proudly. It's great to see tangible results from such a unique campaign. There are so many issues with green washing these days that it means a lot to see there is really something behind it. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see more pictures.

That is amazing work. Your work needs to be recognized by more people. Would definitely like to participate in these activities.
Hope those plantings are taken care in the first growth cycle.
Take care.
