A Carbon Neutral City in the Middle East

For the die-hard environmentalists among us, those who want to live a zero-carbon life in a land surrounded by solar panels, where like-minded environmentalists work together to solve the world's problems, where cars are banned and public transportation is never further than a brief stroll down a shaded urban street, the place to go is... Abu Dhabi?

It may sound odd, but it's no joke. Read about the $5 billion plan for the world's first "carbon neutral" city. It sounds like a great place to live, if you can stand the occasional 120 degree weather.
